Sophie has asked the executioner to show her where a deceitful romantic interest is to be executed. Crista shows her the room where the electric chair is housed. As she inspects the chair, Crista taunts her by calling her a countess instead of a duchess. Sophie’s anger slowly erupts and she grabs the arm of the electric chair as she puts Crista in her place. Crista flips the switch and Sophie fries. We also learn that Crista was more than just an executioner.
